Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of bluejaywaterco.com and to products and services from Bluejay Water LLC, doing business as Bluejay Water Co. (“Bluejay,” “we,” “us”). By using the site or requesting service, you agree to them.

Free water test

The in-home water test is free and carries no obligation to buy. It is an on-site screening of your tap water. It is not a certified laboratory analysis, and it does not test for bacteria or every possible contaminant. If you want lab testing, including for bacteria, ask us or use a state-certified laboratory. If you have a private well, you are responsible for the safety and testing of that water.

Quotes and agreements

We recommend systems based on your test results and your home. Every recommendation is given in a written quote. Prices are firm for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise. Work begins only after you accept the quote in writing and pay the deposit. Existing plumbing, well, or electrical conditions that we could not see when we quoted may change the scope or price. We will tell you and get your approval before doing any extra work.

Payment

A 20% deposit is due when you accept the quote. The final balance is due upon project completion. Accepted payment methods are listed on your quote or invoice.

Cancellation

If you sign a contract with us at your home or anywhere other than our place of business, you may have a right to cancel within three business days under Florida law. Your contract includes a written notice explaining how.

Installation and your responsibilities

You agree to give us safe access to your home, water supply, drain, and a working electrical outlet where required. Where Florida law or local code requires a licensed professional for part of a job, that work will be performed by a properly licensed professional. Installations may require permits or inspections. Softener discharge and well-water systems must follow local and state rules.

Warranty

Factory warranty by component. Each system is backed by factory warranty coverage, grouped by component:

• Control valve: lifetime warranty on water-contact wear parts. If a covered wear part fails under normal use, it is replaced.
• Tanks: lifetime warranty on the reverse osmosis holding tank and the brine tank.
• Electronics: 5-year warranty from the date of purchase on all electronic components.
• Media: 12-month factory warranty on softening resin, carbon, and other treatment media. Media is a consumable. Its working life beyond the warranty period depends on your water conditions and regular maintenance.

Warranty coverage applies to systems that are properly installed and operated under normal use. It covers repair or replacement of the defective component. It does not cover damage from freezing, misuse, unauthorized modification, or power surges, or problems caused by missing required maintenance such as salt, filters, and cartridges.

What we do not promise

Water treatment results depend on your water, which can change over time and with well conditions. We do not guarantee a specific water quality, taste, or contaminant level unless your written quote says so. Our systems are not designed to make unsafe water safe to drink unless your quote states they are intended for that purpose. Website content is general information and is not a substitute for testing your specific water. Specs, photos, and examples may change.

Text messages

• Appointment and service texts. By checking the appointment-text box, you agree to receive text messages from Bluejay Water Co. about your appointment and service.
• Marketing texts. By checking the separate marketing-text box, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Bluejay Water Co., such as offers and promotions. You can receive appointment texts without agreeing to marketing texts.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help.
• Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Website use

You may use this site for lawful, personal purposes. Do not misuse it, copy it for competing use, or try to disrupt it or break into it. The site content, the Bluejay name, our logo, and our photos belong to us or our licensors. Reviews and photos you send us may be used on our site and social media with your permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent Florida law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost income or loss of use. Our total liability for any claim connected to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the work at issue. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or your rights under Florida consumer-protection law.

Disputes and governing law

Florida law governs these terms. Please contact us first and give us a chance to fix a problem. If we cannot resolve it, any lawsuit must be filed in the courts of Alachua County, Florida.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on the date you use the site or accept a quote applies to you.
